Anastasis Academy for clients

Short, practical guides inside the client portal for hiring, onboarding, and managing remote contractors, plus fair-housing essentials.

The Academy is the learning library inside the client portal: short, practical guides for building and running your remote operations team. It covers the full arc — writing a role, interviewing, onboarding, day-to-day oversight, and weekly billing — and includes fair-housing essentials, the same material your contractors are trained on.

Where to find it

Open Academy in the client portal navigation. The catalog shows every guide as a card with its category, level, a one-line summary, and how many lessons it contains. Use the category filter at the top to narrow the list, and click any card to open the course.

Inside a course, lessons are listed in order with an estimated reading time — most are short, minutes-long reads. Open a lesson and use the Previous and Next buttons to move through the course without going back to the list.

What the guides cover

The Academy is organized around the stages of working with contractors:

  • Hiring — writing a role that attracts strong candidates, how contractors are vetted before they reach your shortlist, and running a structured interview that surfaces real skill.
  • Onboarding — setting up access, sharing context, and agreeing on a weekly rhythm so a new hire is productive in week one, plus a first-week playbook of goals and check-ins.
  • Managing — oversight without micromanagement, and how to read the weekly proof of work (timesheets, screenshots, and evidence) in a couple of minutes before you approve.
  • Billing — how weekly approval works, when the weekly charge runs, what happens if you dispute a timesheet, and the reasoning behind billing weekly on approved hours.

Academy guides while you post a role

You’ll also meet the Academy outside its own tab: when you create a job, the posting flow surfaces a short, ordered set of recommended guides — writing the role well, understanding how contractors are vetted, and planning onboarding. They’re the steps that come right after posting, so it’s worth skimming them before you publish. See how to post a role for the posting flow itself.

Academy versus the Help Center

The two are complementary, and several Academy guides link into the Help Center directly:

  • The Academy teaches practice — how to hire, onboard, and manage well. Read it when you’re deciding how to run your team.
  • The Help Center documents the product — what each screen does, how approvals and charges behave, and what to do when something needs attention. Read it when you need a precise answer about the platform.

If a guide raises a product question — say, exactly when an approved week is charged — follow its Help Center link or search here; the mechanics are documented in articles like reviewing a timesheet.
